¿Quiénes son esos chicos?
James Bem and Darrell Enright, are the joint owners of Sedona Bar&Grill and of Slice of New York with two locations, one in the capital of Seville and the other in Rota. Between them they have over thirty-five years experience in the hospitality industry.
James comes from a family of restaurateurs, working from a young age with his father and uncles in different premises, from British pubs, golf clubs and Italian restaurants. James has also worked in New York City alongside several Michelin star chefs such as George Mendez (Top Chef Masters) and David Bouley. His passion for flavors has driven him to create innovative dishes with a classic foundation. He brings his Big Apple attention to detail and customer service here to Andalucia.
Darrell also comes from a family in the business, owners of the popular Irish chain Flahertys with locations in Seville, Barcelo- na, Zaragoza and now in Ibiza. His Irish pubs are famous for their hospitality, service and quality of food and beverages. Darrell also opened and managed successful Irish pubs in North Carolina that are still thriving to this day.

The two joined forces 10 years ago with the first Slice of New York Pizza in Seville. It was the first real NY pizza place in Andalucia. With just 30sqm they created an institution for weary tourists to get a quick slice of home while exploring the city.
After meeting several customers who were willing to travel an hour and half to get their pizza, they learned of the base expansion in Rota, and decided to find a location there. Two years later opened Slice of New York Rota. The space was larger with room for tables and a terrace, thus the menu expanded to include their now famous hot wings, belgian fries, and chipotle ribs.
